Yes you can get great pictures. They also offer for a good price a DVD of your flight. For the best pictures, wear dark clothing so it won't reflect .

Airline pilots at Hawaiian Airlines are about to go on strike to raise their salaries. Currently a pilot with 12 years of experience makes 150k per year, while other airlines on the mainland would pay that pilot 200k. Helicopter Tour Pilots in Hawaii with 12 years experience make half as much as an airline pilot with the same experience. The helicopter tour pilot works much harder and never takes his hands off the controls during the flight. Also, the tour pilot spends a great deal of time studying and researching various subjects to compose an interesting tour to entertain passengers throughout the flight. This constitutes a separate job from simply flying the aircraft. Unfortunately, most people's perceptions are incorrect about tipping the pilot. By all means, if your pilot gives you a great tour you should tip at the very least $10.00 per person.
