The 2025 U.S. Open started with 14 LIV Golf players in the field at Oakmont Country Club. Only six made the cut (which was 7 over), among those a pair of past champions who couldn't get into contention on the weekend.

BRUTAL break for Spaun off the flagstick at hole 2 OAKMONT, Pa. – Final-round play at the 125 th U.S. Open was suspended at 4:01 p.m. ET Sunday after a heavy downpour caused pooling on the fairways and greens at Oakmont Country Club.

Serving as U.S. Open host for the 10th time, Oakmont has shown its teeth to the field as only four players entered Round 4 with under-par scores. That number is down to one with the first nine having been completed Sunday.
