Millions of Americans may face reduced or eliminated Social Security payments due to a controversial initiative led by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and supported by the Trump administration.

Public confidence in the economy has been rattled by news out of the White House, most recently noises about cuts to Social Security and Medicaid.
