As Andor season 2 gears up for release, now is the time to refresh what happened in season 1. For the uninitiated, a spin-off of the 2016 prequel movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the solo spin-off series takes place five years before the events of the movie.

Season 2 of “Andor” will has 12 episodes that will be split into three-episode mini-arcs airing over four weeks. Each block of episodes will cover roughly a year of the timeline leading up to the fateful events of “Rogue One.”
