The preview, unveiled during a franchise celebration in Tokyo, introduced new characters including Lera Abova as Nico Robin, Callum Kerr as Smoker, and Charithra Chandran as Vivi. Chandran’s casting has drawn online debate, with some fans noting differences between her appearance and Vivi’s depiction in the original anime.
