The Blues are coming off securing consecutive Premier League victories for the first time in 2025. Nevertheless, beating relegation bound Leicester City 1–0 at home did little to convince fans that Chelsea have finally turned a corner after their early year struggles.

While winning a knockout competition won’t be as straightforward as perhaps some are suggesting given the vast difference in resources Chelsea boast when compared to their fellow participants, it would be a major shock not to see Enzo Maresca’s side progress into at least the final eight at this stage.
