The Dallas Cowboys are essentially fighting to keep their 2025 season alive against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night. In a closely contested game, the Cowboys are trailing 31-23 in the early stages of the fourth quarter.
Defensive tackle Quinnen Williams left Sunday’s game against Minnesota late in the fourth quarter. He attempted to make a stop with Dallas trailing by eight points. Williams spent a few moments on the turf before he walked to the locker room with trainers.
Minnesota and Dallas on Sunday Night Football is a must-win for the Cowboys (6-6-1) to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. The Vikings are barely hanging on at 5-8 and would need to win out, plus get a lot of help, to make the postseason. The loser will pretty much be done, while the winner keeps hope, some resemblance of hope alive.
The final game of the day on Sunday, Dec. 14 sees the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Minnesota Vikings as Week 15 creeps closer to its conclusion.
The Cowboys endured a few injury scares in Sunday’s meeting with the Vikings. As the second half began, the team announced fullback Hunter Luepke was ruled out for the game. The Cowboys officially ruled Luepke out with a concussion. He sustained the injury on Dallas’ final kickoff before the first half came to a close.
