An unusual May nor’easter is soaking New England and threatening to bring snow to higher elevations as the states prepared for the Memorial Day holiday weekend
A late-season nor'easter will put a damper on Memorial Day travel this week. This comes after tornadoes pummeled the Ohio, Mississippi and Tennessee valleys in the final act of a deadly eight-day severe weather pattern.
Sunday morning will be cool and overcast, with some light showers and drizzle possible early in the day. For those preparing to either run or watch the marathon, temperatures will start out cool, with highs near 50 degrees in the morning. However, the temperature will slowly rise into the lower to mid 60s by the afternoon.
