Caitlin Clark is back on the sidelines after suffering a right groin injury on Tuesday. To add insult to injury, the Indiana Fever had the daunting task of traveling to New York to face the defending champion Liberty in the second game of a back-to-back on Wednesday.

The Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun played before a sold-out TD Garden on Tuesday, the second year in a row the WNBA has filled the arena to capacity for a regular season game. Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is hoping Boston hosts more games in the future.

Aliyah Boston's investment came from a desire to give back to a place that supported her through high school, she said.

Boston moved from the US Virgin Islands to Worcester when she was 12, and had "a lot" of friends and family at TD Garden for Tuesday's game. She also had an uncharacteristically rough night.

The Indiana Fever ’s cohesion was on full display Tuesday night in Boston, where Indiana faced the league-worst Connecticut Sun at TD Garden. After trading leads throughout the first three quarters, Indiana pulled away in the fourth, finishing with an 85-77 victory.
