New York Giants star Gunner Olszewski took a hit that was so hard, he lost part of his helmet against the New England Patriots.

Marte Mapu was hitting Olszewski from one direction and Tomon Fox was coming back trying to block Elliss. But instead of pushing him away from his returner, Fox directed Elliss into Olzewski hard. Their helmets collided and the ball came loose. The Patriots recovered and Olszweski left New England’s 33-15 win with a concussion.

Christian Ellis is taking no prisoners tonight, as he delivered a crunching tackle on the New York Giants punt returner.

Olszewski will be sidelined for the remainder of Monday's game against New England after being diagnosed with a concussion, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

"There's nothing illegal about anything that he did. There's nothing dirty. It's him playing football." Mike Vrabel defended Patriots linebacker Christian Elliss on Tuesday.
