The New York Jets are a handful of completed practices in the books at training camp. A slew of undrafted free agents are attempting to make the 53-man roster. One of the early standouts has been former Clemson defensive lineman Payton Page.
Brian Costello of the New York Post reports that the Jets worked out Nick Folk, who kicked for the team from 2010-16. Folk, 40, has played for four other teams in his 17 seasons.
The first day in pads is always a training camp milestone, and almost always one that gets more hype than it’s worth. Aaron Glenn’s first training camp with the Jets, however, appears to be an exception to the rule.
