The Boston Red Sox are going to have some needs this offseason. Japanese phenom Munetaka Murakami could potentially help in a number of ways.
Manny Ramirez wants to return to Major League Baseball. As a hitting coach. Per Insider Jon Heyman: "Manny Ramirez is getting word out to all 30 teams he’d love to serve as an MLB hitting coach.“ “He wants to bring his greatness to teach the young guys,” his agent Hector Zepeda said.
“After a season in which he hit .273/.360/.462 with 18 home runs and 62 RBI, as well as making a great impression in Boston’s clubhouse, Bregman should do well in free agency,” Murray, who also tabbed the Detroit Tigers as another fit, wrote.

His credentials as a hitter are impressive: A .312 career batting average with 555 home runs, 1,831 RBI and a .996 OPS. While some of those numbers were perhaps inflated by PED use, there's no doubt that Ramírez was born to hit.
