The Kremlin said on Friday that there was a mutual understanding about the need for a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, but that the details of such an encounter had yet to be worked out.

Trump said Tuesday he would probably meet Putin this month and dismissed Ukraine's concern about being left out of U.S.-Russian talks in Saudi Arabia.

Russian officials are arguing that American companies stand to make billions of dollars by re-entering Russia. The White House is listening.
