Brady Cook, New York Jets and NFL
Digest more
Former Missouri quarterback Brady Cook earned his first NFL start Sunday for the New York Jets in their 48-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cook completed 22 of his 33 pass attempts for 176 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. He also rushed for 39 yards on six carries.
Cook's celebration was understated. He knocked helmets and slapped hands with his teammates. In fact, Cook may have been too chill about the whole thing. Despite throwing his first NFL touchdown pass, Cook ran off the field without securing the football.
The Jets were forced to turn to undrafted free agent Brady Cook at QB in Week 15. However, he is already looking better than Justin Fields.
From Warren Moon to Kurt Warner, we look at the quarterbacks who went from draft day disappointment to NFL stardom.
