This week, state and local law enforcement agencies are targeting speeding drivers as part of "Operation Southern Slow Down."

State and local law enforcement across five states will be targeting speeders as part of a special effort to save lives.

Law enforcement throughout Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama and Tennessee will clamp down on lead-footed motorists this week in Operation Southern Slow Down. It's an annual public education campaign to encourage drivers to obey speed limits.
