Revenge of the Sith was undeniably strong with the Force at the worldwide box office, with an impressive global haul that cemented how much fans have grown to love George Lucas' prequel trilogy.

Going into Revenge of the Sith, George Lucas had his work cut out for him. The film needed to show Anakin Skywalker’s fall from grace, and his full transformation into Darth Vader. The movie was also tasked with writing out several characters that had been introduced in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.

That's not to say that Ben Affleck's 'Accountant' sequel and the 'Star Wars: Episode III' rerelease aren't also feeding the box office boom, with overall revenue up more than 100 percent over last year.
