A coach is only as good as his team. Most of the time. The best coaches in the SEC could probably pull off being winners wherever they called home.

Alabama, Ole Miss, and Texas will only play four teams ranked in the preseason Coaches Poll. Texas made the semi-finals of the College Football Playoff in 2024 while Alabama and South Carolina were on the outside looking in with 9-3 records after suffering upset losses in SEC play.

The SEC had more than half of its 16 teams ranked inside of the top 25 of the Preseason Coaches Poll. With the Preseason AP Top 25 coming out on Monday, how many SEC teams can we realistically expect be ranked inside of that particular top 25 poll?
