His return could be a win-win. Ohio State gets back a linebacker it can trust, and is capable of leading a young room that has a ton of upside. Styles gets to keep developing at a position he’s only been at for 12 months. The payoff could be significant for both sides this time next year.

Early on Friday, running back Quinshon Judkins, fresh off a three-touchdown performance in the national championship game, declared for the NFL Draft. Judkins, who announced his decision to ESPN, played one year with the Buckeyes, splitting snaps with TreVeyon Henderson, who will also be in the draft in April.
