Following a round of negotiations in Washington last week, the Trump administration reduced its estimated cost of US military assistance to Kyiv to $100 billion from $300 billion, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg News.

Ukraine's Air Force said a new Russian missile and guided bombs targeted the city of Sumy in northeastern Ukraine on Monday evening, a day after a missile strike killed 35 people in the city.

The strikes from two Russian ballistic missiles killed at least 34 people, including two children, and wounded about 117 in the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumy.
