President Donald Trump stated that Mexico will not be required to pay tariffs on any goods, but he did not mention Canada.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said her country would review tariffs on Chinese shipments, a move that could give the Trump administration a win in its push to build a “Fortress North America” that blocks shipments from the Asian nation.

President Trump suspended tariffs for both countries after Mexico’s leader presented her security successes, and after U.S. markets fell and business leaders urged the White House to change course.
