On Monday, issues at British telecommunications giant Vodafone led to large scale service outages that impacted hundreds of thousands of Vodafone customers.
The outages began on Monday afternoon, according to the monitoring website DownDetector, which had more than 130,000 reports of problems with Vodafone connections.

Vodafone in the UK is experiencing a massive outage of its mobile network and broadband service. Reports that customers could not access services began at 3pm, according to the Down Detector website. More than 135,000 Vodafone customers had reported disruption by 3.20pm.
The Supreme Court has again deferred Vodafone Idea's plea for a waiver on ₹9,450 crore dues to the government. The case has been postponed multiple times as the government sought more time. Vodafone Idea argues penalties and interest should be waived until the disputed dues are finalized.
