TRAVERSE CITY, MI - In response to the violent stabbing attack at a Walmart store here that injured 11 people and shocked the community, Traverse City agencies have banded together to offer a free counseling center for any of the victims, bystanders, or community members who might need help - or just a listening ear.
The suspect accused of stabbing 11 people in a random attack at a Walmart in Traverse City on Saturday has been charged. The attack happened on July 26 at around 5 p.m. The motive is still unclear, according to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office.
Six of the 11 victims were in critical condition after Saturday's attack, and five were listed in serious condition, hospital officials said.
