On Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers moved on from wide receiver George Pickens by trading him to the Dallas Cowboys. This left the Steelers with a huge vacancy at wide receiver. Pittsburgh is also still in a holding pattern at quarterback as Aaron Rodgers remains undecided about his future.

The Pittsburgh Steelers expect a jump from second-year wide receiver Roman Wilson following the George Pickens trade. Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that Wilson has impressed the team in the early phases of OTAs, and they expect more out of him.

To clear a slot on its offseason roster for Pickens, Dallas waived wide receiver Seth Williams, who played at Paul Bryant High School in Cottondale and Auburn. Williams joined the Cowboys’ practice squad on Oct. 8. He had re-signed with Dallas in January.
