The Ravens are stumbling badly with a 1-4 record, but it would be a mistake to bury them and declare that they have no chance of rebounding
After falling to the Houston Texans on Sunday for their third straight loss, the Ravens have taken a tumble in power rankings. Baltimore is highest in The Ringer's rankings, which have them as the No. 18 team in the league. Pro Football Focus has Baltimore ranked at No. 25, the lowest placement among the hierarchies that we compiled.
The Lamar Jackson-less Ravens continued their disastrous slide Sunday in Baltimore, falling to 1-5 in a Week 6 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams were nearly without star receiver Puka Nacua, but he returned from a second-quarter injury in a limited role as his team handed Baltimore a 17-3 loss.
Despite the 1-4 start, the Baltimore Ravens season is not completely over. We still have a lot of football left.
Offensively, the Ravens ground to a halt without Jackson under center. A rushing attack that was needed to buoy the unit never got going. Derrick Henry had six carries for eight yards on the Ravens' first two drives and finished with just 33 yards on 15 rushes.
