Fairhaven was one of Washington’s earliest townships, founded in 1853. Today, Fairhaven still feels like a self-contained small town with Victorian-era appeal.
The structure had been used to haul cement onto shipping barges, but ceased operations in 1987. Now it’s being turned into a public pier.
