LOS ANGELES (AP) — Beyoncé won album of the year for “Cowboy Carter” at Sunday’s Grammys, delivering her — at last — the show’s elusive top award. The superstar, who is both the most awarded and nominated artist in Grammys history, has been up for the category four times before and many feel she has been snubbed by its top honors.

The tour will travel to several stadiums in nine cities, starting in Los Angeles, California on April 28. Beyoncé originally teased the tour on Instagram before the Grammy Awards on Feb. 2. At the ceremony, the singer took home awards for Best Country Album, Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Album of the Year.

The pop star started to tease her Cowboy Carter Tour just before the 2025 Grammy Award ceremony. It’s a night that will now go down in history, as Cowboy Carter earned Bey her first Album of the Year award,

Beyonce has secured the prestigious album of the year Grammy Award for her chart-topping country album Cowboy Carter after previously missing out four times. The US superstar had previously failed to secure the prize with 2008’s I Am… Sasha Fierce, 2013’s Beyonce, 2016’s Lemonade and 2022’s Renaissance.

At the Grammys 2025 ceremony, Beyoncé couldn't believe she won Best Country Album, earning support from her husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy, 13.

After a year filled with highs and lows, Beyoncé won Best Country Album at the Grammys for Cowboy Carter after skipping the red carpet. The "Halo" singer, 43, took a pass on the red carpet and was first shown seated in the audience during the live telecast on Sunday.

Beyoncé, the most decorated Grammy artist in history, has won the 2025 award for best country album for her 2024 smash record, "Cowboy Carter." Taylor Swift, nominated for six Grammys this year, presented her with the award.

Beyoncé revealed the first nine cities for her highly-anticipated Cowboy Carter & the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour shortly after taking home the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The singer posted the stops in a poster on her Instagram, but has yet to announce the actual dates.
