Boston is set to kick off the coming week with a cold and windy storm system, before heading into a batch of gusty and chilly but dry late fall weather, according to National Weather Service forecasts.
Hundreds of flights were either canceled or delayed at Boston's Logan International Airport amid a nor'easter on Oct. 13.
The rest of the week is looking much quieter and more seasonable. Expect cool mornings in the 30s and 40s, with afternoon highs in the 50s and low 60s. It’s a return to classic mid-October weather—and a welcome break after a stormy start to the week.
After an unseasonably warm stretch for October, the coolest air of the season so far is moving in. But high winds and rain are likely to cap the long weekend.
