Multiple highly ranked teams went down on Saturday as Texas dominated No. 6 Oklahoma, 23-6, in the Red River Rivalry and No. 7 Indiana went on the road and stunned No. 3 Oregon, 30-20, in a statement win. Unranked USC also emphatically beat No. 15 Michigan, 31-13, in Los Angeles.
Michigan freshman QB Bryce Underwood has played well at home while struggling in two road games. That doesn't bode well for him on Saturday, when he'll have to match a USC offense that leads the nation at 8.5 yards per play behind QB Jayden Maiava.
The Hurricanes took down the Seminoles 28-22 in Tallahassee, completing an in-state sweep with wins over South Florida and Florida as well. Carson Beck threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns, while CJ Daniels hauled in five passes for 78 yards and two scores to lead Miami’s offense.
A 77-yard touchdown pass from Owen Johansen to Zach Falls broke a tie and helped the Ephs improve to 4-1 in NESCAC.
