Cowboys, NFL Week 6
Digest more
The Cowboys defense has been under fire all season, and after another poor performance, they are the laughing stock of the NFL and morning sports talk shows.
The defense is failing McDaniel, which is why the Dolphins have been so bad all year. Once the Dolphins took the lead in the final minute, the defense allowed Ladd McConkey to get 42 yards on a short out, setting the Chargers up for a Cameron Dicker field goal in the final seconds for the win.
The Dallas Cowboys hit the road for a second straight week and look to stay hot with a Sunday afternoon matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Detroit Lions 30-17, and the Chiefs have improved to 3-3. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes ask if the Chiefs are the best team in the NFL. Plus, they discuss the scuffle between Brian Branch and the Chiefs after the game and if the Buffalo Bills are on upset alert vs the Atlanta Falcons.
The Dallas Cowboys have one of the best offenses in the NFL. Dallas ranks first in the league in total offense (406.6) and fourth in scoring offense (30.2). Quarterback Dak Prescott is second in passing yards (1,356) and tied for third in passing touchdowns (10). Meanwhile, George Pickens has 23 catches for 357 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Luckily for Dallas, the team has some extra capital in the 2026 NFL Draft that could overhaul the talent on the roster with two first-round picks. Because of Dallas' struggles, one of those two picks currently sits in the top 15 following Sunday's games.
