PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Following the announcement that the Gateway Fred Meyer store will close down this September, more information has come to light about how many employees will be impacted.

The Fred Meyer in the Gateway district of East Portland’s Hazelwood Neighborhood will soon be closing its doors.

The Gateway Shopping Center, which started as a Fred Meyer, is itself for sale. A QFC in Mill Creek, Washington, also is slated for closure in September, affecting 76 workers.
