With its latest luxury smartwatch, TAG Heuer is ending its decade-long association with Wear OS for a custom solution.

Gemini is surprisingly difficult to use on Wear OS smartwatches, but Google appears to be working on a fix, according to leaked code.

The app was previously compatible with all Wear OS devices, but now it’s only available for some. If you have a Samsung Galaxy Watch or OnePlus device, you may not be able to download it.

Any watch running Wear OS 6 — as well as any other OS moving forward — will no longer be able to download Google's built-in Weather app. If your smartwatch is running OS 5 or older, you can still download the app.

On Wear OS, the Google Clock app can power alarms, timers, and stopwatches. That’s a standard set of features on any smartwatch, which is why every smartwatch has its own app for exactly that functionality. On Pixel Watch, that comes from the Google Clock app, while other Wear OS brands such as Samsung and OnePlus have their own.
