The Halo series is coming to PlayStation 5. In a new demo debuted at the Halo World Championship, Microsoft has revealed Halo: Campaign Evolved – described as "a faithful yet modernised remake of Halo: Combat Evolved 's campaign" – is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S next year.

While there's no word from Xbox about this, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has issued a reminder about how Xbox is very much open to supporting the Switch 2 going forward. He also acknowledges the "excellent support" Microsoft's gaming division has received from Nintendo.
Speaking during an announcement stream, in which Halo Studios officially revealed the remake of the original Halo campaign for Xbox, PS5, and PC, community director Brian Jarrard appeared wearing a PlayStation t-shirt and confirmed it was the studio’s intention for the series to remain multiplatform.
