Michigan Wolverines quarterback Bryce Underwood joined some elite company as he was announced as the starter for the season by head coach Sherrone Moore.

Michigan football has officially named true freshman Bryce Underwood as starting quarterback. He impressed coaches with his consistency and leadership during spring and fall camp. Underwood's first start will be against New Mexico at home, followed by a challenging road game at Oklahoma.

After an offseason with one big question at the position, Bryce Underwood was officially named Michigan's starting quarterback on Monday.
