At 8:37 p.m. on Tuesday, the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC issued an updated coastal flood advisory valid from Thursday 7 a.m. until Monday 8 a.m. The advisory is for Southern Craven as well as Beaufort and Pamlico counties.
