It’s been a year since the state Supreme Court heard the latest round of arguments in the long-running Leandro school funding case, and there’s still no ruling.

Several school districts in the North Carolina mountains will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 12 due to the ongoing threat of ice and snow, officials said. The class changes come after a day of wet and cold weather on Tuesday with a good chance for more Wednesday.
