Kirk Cousins took to the airwaves this week to explain his drop-off at the tail end of the Atlanta Falcons season.

And so we meet again... After interviewing seven different candidates to replace Jimmy Lake as the Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator, Raheem Morris opted to go with the guy he knows the best.

Cousins says he suffered a shoulder injury in Week 10 against the Saints and never returned to full strength afterward.

However, it was not all good news for Atlanta in its 34-7 victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, as the Falcons saw their top downfield weapon leave the game with a lower-body injury in the fourth quarter.
