Announcers revealed for Jaguars vs. Raiders Week 9 NFL game
The announcers are set for the Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 9 NFL matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Jaguars are 4-3 on the season and are coming off their bye week. They are now just on the outside looking in when it comes to the AFC playoff standings, but are very much in the thick of that race.
Both the Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders lost their Week 7 game before heading into a Week 8 BYE. Now, the two teams will face each other in a Week 9
Sunday the Raiders are in Kansas City for their Week 7 matchup. The Raiders are coming off their first win since their season opener. Meanwhile the Chiefs are coming off a huge win over the Detroit Lions. Though there is just one win separating the two teams' records this season, they are playing a very different levels this season.
Those who prefer an auditory experience can tune in to Sunday's Chiefs-Raiders game on KFNZ-FM (96.5 The Fan). Longtime announcer Mitch Holthus, along with Danan Hughes and sideline reporter Josh Klingler, will call the action.
The game continued to unravel out of control for the Raiders, as the Chiefs scored another touchdown with their first possession in the second half. Following the seven-yard touchdown rush by Isiah Pacheco, Harrison Butker knocked in a 38-yard field goal on the following drive to make it 31-0 heading into the fourth quarter.

George Atkinson, a hard-hitting former Raiders safety who struck fear in the opposition, has died. He was 78. The Raiders said Atkinson’s family informed the team of his death on Monday. The team said he died in Georgia without revealing a cause of death.
