The game time for South Carolina-Alabama football is set. The Gamecocks’ home game against the Crimson Tide next Saturday will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on ABC, the SEC announced Monday. The game had previously been designated as a flex, meaning it could be an afternoon or night kickoff.
South Carolina football does not play in Week 6 on Oct. 4. It is the first of two open weeks for the Gamecocks, who next play against LSU on Oct. 11

The South Carolina football team’s shortcomings on the offensive line have cost Lonnie Teasley his job. Gamecocks head coach Shane Beamer fired Teasley, the team’s offensive line coach, on Sunday. The move comes amid the line’s struggles during the Gamecocks’ 3-3 start to the season.
