A massive winter storm will begin moving east across much of the country today, bringing with it heavy snow, widespread ice accumulation and dangerous cold.

Oklahomans are quickly emptying grocery store shelves and lining up at gas stations to fill up their tanks ahead of what's expected to be a significant, impactful winter storm.

Total snow and sleet accumulations of up to 2 inches and ice accumulations between a quarter inch and 1 inch will be possible.
