NWS confirms EF-1 tornado in Cherokee County

JACKSONVILLE, Texas (KLTV) - The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado hit Cherokee County Thursday night. The NWS determined that a strong thunderstorm moved into Cherokee County shortly after 9 p.m. on Thursday where it was able to produce a brief EF-1 tornado between Jacksonville and Tecula.
