For the second time in a week, Judge Beverly Cannone denied Karen Read's attorneys' request for a mistrial after they accused the prosecution of misconduct.

Karen Read will not take the witness stand in the second trial about the death of her Boston police officer boyfriend as the defense has rested.

Jurors heard from a trio of witnesses on Monday, including an accident reconstruction expert and a medical examiner hired by the defense. The medical examiner resumes her testimony under direct examination Tuesday morning.
