The New Jersey Devils finding a way to win their first playoff game of their first-round series against the Carolina Hurricanes in double overtime has some Hurricanes fans panicking.

The Carolina Hurricanes traveled to Newark, New Jersey, to take on the New Jersey Devils for Game 3 of Round 1. The Hurricanes entered the game looking to take a 3-0 stranglehold on the series.

With the Devils’ defense hurting, Nemec scored a game-winning goal early in the second overtime against the Hurricanes in Game 3 of the first-round series on Friday, minutes before midnight. The 3-2 win at Prudential Center pulled New Jersey to 2-1 in the series with Game 4 set at home for Sunday.
