Amid the federal trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs, several media entities including ABC News and The New York Times are requesting that the judge allow them to view the "freak-off" videos at the center of Combs' sex trafficking case.
Known as “Victim 1” in the indictment and “Cassie” in the music world, Ventura – who is pregnant and in her third trimester – took the stand Tuesday in what is likely to be several days of intense testimony. She was on the stand for about 4.5 hours Tuesday and is set to return Wednesday for further questioning.

Courtroom evidence presented against Sean “Diddy” Combs on Tuesday at his sex trafficking and racketeering trial revealed the twisted nickname the disgraced mogul requested his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura call him.
Cassie Ventura is a singer and model who signed with Combs' Bad Boy Records in 2006. Their relationship lasted over a decade. In 2023, she filed a lawsuit alleging rape, physical abuse, and coercion into sex acts with other men. The case was settled a day later but prompted additional lawsuits and further criminal investigation.
Atlanta criminal-defense attorney Bruce Harvey, who co-represented Young Thug’s co-defendant Nichols, agreed. “Brian is a meticulous lawyer, always very thorough and prepared — leaves no stone unturned,” Harvey said.
Ventura Fine alleged Combs would "bash my head, knock me over, drag me, kick me, stomp me in the head if I was down."
