According to the Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center’s outlook, precipitation levels are expected to remain above normal from the Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic through the end of April, especially for Northeast Texas, North Louisiana, Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma and southern Missouri.

There is an isolated risk of strong storms heading into the Easter weekend. A warm front is moving through Southeast Michigan on Friday into Saturday. This will put much of the state in what is called the warm sector.

Severe weather will continue to slam the Central U.S. throughout Easter weekend, as areas have already been slammed with tornadoes and damaging winds, officials said.
