In The Athletic ’s recent survey of Rockets fans conducted by Kelly Iko, he asked how fans felt about the Durant trade. While 47% of fans responded that they were “extremely excited,” 50.1% of fans responded with “cautiously optimistic.”

Despite a lack of movement so far, there is an expectation that Kevin Durant and the Rockets will agree to an extension.
