Nearly half of the new flights are for Notre Dame games, including the home game against USC on October 18. Flights have also been added for ND home games against Texas A&M (September 13), Purdue (September 20), Boise State (October 4), NC State (October 11), Navy (November 8) and Syracuse (November 22).

Since 2007, they have only squared off nine times and Notre Dame is 9-0 in those contests with their largest margin of victory in the series coming this past season when they traveled to West Lafayette and won in a 66-7 blowout that was over by halftime. Freeman has only coached against Purdue once and is 1-0 against the instate rival.

Two Notre Dame rivalries have been nominated among the top 25 in college football in a list produced by The Athletic. They are, unsurprisingly, the matchups against USC and Michigan. Notre Dame faces USC just about every season, with last year's meeting in Los Angeles going to the Fighting Irish, 49-35.
