Police responded to a reported shooting in the area of 56th and Christian Streets outside the Christy Recreation Center.

Four people, including a city employee and two children, were shot outside a West Philadelphia rec center on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

A city employee was also among the four people shot outside the rec center, Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said.
