That number has grown to 73 percent, according to a January iReady assessment. For third-grade math, the school has seen the end-of-year benchmark increase from 23 percent to 65 percent.
Baltimore City Schools uses iReady assessments to help gauge at which grade level a student is performing in math and reading. The scores are not made public without being redacted.
The iReady program also stores students’ data, giving teachers percentages on where students stand in English and math, and whether they are working at, below or above their grade level.
