Atlanta media mogul Ted Turner was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia in 2018. The progressive disease is the second most common form of dementia behind Alzheimer’s.

Jane Fonda is honoring to her late ex-husband, Ted Turner, after he died May 6 at age 87.

“He swept into my life, a gloriously handsome, deeply romantic, swashbuckling pirate and I’ve never been the same,” she said of Turner, who was her husband from 1991 until their 2001 divorce.
