The state's Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) has officially deemed Framingham in compliance with the MBTA Communities Act, according to a news release from the city.

The specialized code requires that new construction either be built without fossil fuels or pre-wired to be fossil fuel-free in the future.
